Ms. Rosa Nelly Hernandez - Border Patrol Chief Grand Forks
Rosa Nelly Hernandez is the Chief Patrol Agent of the U.S. Border Patrol Grand Forks Sector. CPA Hernandez is responsible for providing leadership and direction for day-to-day operations within Sector. This includes operational and administrative activities at eight Border Patrol Stations along 861 miles of the U.S./Canada border.

CPA Hernandez is responsible for the management and oversight of initiatives and enforcement efforts in support of national security and homeland defense. CPA Hernandez also establishes and maintains close liaison with Canadian government and law enforcement officials, and builds alliances with other Federal, State and local agencies and community stakeholders.

CPA Hernandez began her career in the U.S. Border Patrol in 1985 with Academy Class 182. She has served in a variety of positions on the Southwest Border and at Border Patrol Headquarters. She was a Border Patrol Agent (Marfa Station), Supervisory Border Patrol Agent (Marfa Station), Supervisory Border Patrol Agent (Alpine Station), Watch Commander (Cotulla Station), Field Operations Supervisor (Cotulla Station), Assistant Patrol Agent in Charge (Cotulla Station), Assistant Chief Patrol Agent (Laredo Sector), Assistant Chief (Northern/Coastal Border Division - HQ), and Associate Chief (Northern/Coastal Border Division - HQ).
