Mr. Jamie Rogers - Security Analyst, Canada Border Services Agency
Jamie Rogers has been involved in border-related national security intelligence since joining Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as an intelligence analyst in Vancouver in 2001. He has had a broad range of intelligence assignments that have included investigations to deport or prevent the entry to Canada of foreign nationals involved in terrorism, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and organized crime. While stationed in Vancouver, BC Jamie was actively engaged in intelligence-gathering efforts meant to disrupt criminal organizations targeting Canada for migrant smuggling and trafficking in persons. His current assignment involves the collection of intelligence leading to the removal of foreign nationals in Canada who are members of street gangs or who are suspected of having links to trans-national organized criminal enterprises such as drugs and arms trafficking, money laundering, and human trafficking.
