Ms. Adele Dyck - President and Immigration Consultant, Star 7 International Inc.
Adele Dyck is the founder and president of Star 7 International Inc., an immigration consulting firm based in Winkler, Manitoba. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants. Adele began her career as a consultant in 1996 with a proposal to the provincial and federal governments for the fast-tracking of 50 immigrant families to the Winkler area.
The Winkler Project, as it was called, was a collaborative effort involving Star 7, the Winkler and District Chamber of Commerce, local employers and Manitoba Labour and Immigration. It was a success and became the pilot project for the establishment of the evolving Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. The Winkler Project and its positive results stand as a reminder of what can be achieved when all levels of government, industry and business work together. Since then, Adele's firm has assisted countless families with their immigration to Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Adele is herself an immigrant, having arrived in Canada from Paraguay in 1985. She understands the demands such an undertaking places on families and she remains firm in her commitment to know her clients personally and to provide them with quality service.
Adele has a background in business and is a long-standing member of the Winkler and District Chamber of Commerce. She served as Board Member for the Garden Valley School Division for many years and chaired a variety of committees in both organizations. Adele was also a member of the Winkler Youth Justice Committee. These involvements, together with her extensive knowledge and experience in the area of immigration, enable her to advise clients professionally and comprehensively on a wide variety of topics related to immigration.
For many years Adele published the Kanadischer Stern, a magazine providing information to landed and immigrating families and she continues to contribute informative articles on immigration to the International Family & Home Magazine. Adele has provided information sessions for many communities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan considering immigration as part of their regional development strategy.
Adele is married, has seven children and she is the young grandmother of 17 grandchildren. She enjoys the weekly family dinners in her home.
